The ruling party Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was ahead in 18 and main opposition Congress in 9 seats in the trends found in three hours during the counting of votes for 28 assembly by-elections in Madhya Pradesh.
According to the information received till 11 am, the BSP is ahead in another seat. Former minister and BJP candidate Tulsi Silavat is ahead of his nearest rival Premchand Guddu by nearly 7000 votes after three rounds of counting. Former minister and BJP candidate Govind Singh Rajput is also leading from Surkhi.
However, Public Health Engineering Minister Adal Singh Kansana from Sumawali in Morena district is behind Ajab Singh Kushwaha of Congress and Minister of State for Agriculture and BJP candidate Gimarj Dandotiya of Dimani, Ravindra Singh Tomar of Congress. In Morena, BSP candidates Ramprakash Rajoria and Congress candidate Phool Singh Baraiya from Bhander are also seen in the contest.[ad_2]
