Indian team tour to Australia: Ashwin, Rahane and Pujara reach Australia with family; Team India will play first series in Coronkaal

The Indian team has reached Australia tour. The team, which arrived in Sydney on Thursday, will now have to stay in Quarantine for 14 days. However, players will be able to practice during this period. The Indian team will play 3 ODIs, 3 T20s and 4 Test matches on Australia tour. Team India opener Shikhar Dhawan arrived in Sydney in Australia.

The Government of New South Wales has allowed the Indian team to train during the quarantine period. The team will be able to practice at the Blacktown International Sports Park.

One-day matches will begin the tour

The tour of Australia will begin with the ODI series. The first two one-day matches will be played in Sydney on 27 and 29 November. The final will be played in Canberra on 2 December. The T20 series will be played in Sydney and Canberra. The first T20 match will take place on 4 December in Canberra. After that the team will return to Sydney. The remaining two matches will be played there.

Test matches will be played from December 17

The first Test between the two teams will be Day-Night in Adelaide. It will be played from 17 to 21 December. The second Test will be played in Melbourne from 26 to 30 December. The third Test will take place in Sydney from 7 to 11 January and the fourth Test in Brisbane from 15–19 January.

Virat will leave the tour for the birth of a child

Team India captain Virat Kohli will go to Paternity Leave after the first Test and the remaining 3 Tests will not be played. Virat and Anushka were married on 11 December 2017 in Italy. Kohli had tweeted in August- In January 2021, we will be two to three.

Team India’s middle order batsman Cheteshwar Pujara arrived in Sydney with wife Pooja Pabri and daughter Aditi Pujara.

Rohit Sharma has been included in the Test team for the tour of Australia. After the BCCI medical team assessed Rohit’s fitness, he was included in the team for the Test series. They will not play in the limited overs series.

The tour is also important for Sanju Samson. He was in excellent form in the IPL.

Sanju Samson was also included in the ODI team after T20. Whereas, Varun Chakraborty dropped out of the Australia tour due to a shoulder injury. Fast bowler T. Natarajan was included in the T20 squad in his place.
