In Haryana’s Baroda assembly seat, Congress candidate Induraj Narwal was leading in early trends by 2,843 votes over his nearest BJP rival Yogeshwar Dutt. According to Election Commission data, Narwal got 11,504 votes after the fourth round of counting, while Dutt Could get 8,661 votes.
The counting of by-elections in Baroda assembly seat has started at 8 am on Tuesday. There will be 20 rounds of counting.
According to officials, three-tier security has been provided at the counting center located at Mohana in Sonepat.
This seat was polled 68.57 percent on November 3. 14 candidates are trying their luck from this seat.
The Baroda assembly seat was vacated in April due to the death of Congress MLA Shri Krishna Hooda. He won this seat thrice in 2009, 2014 and 2019.
